After seven years, an industry hit was born in Malayalam. Jude Anthony Joseph’s 2018 film broke the collection record of 137.35 crores set by 2016 Pulimurakan. The film’s 2018 global box office collection till Sunday stands at 137.60 crore. With this, Buhatara film has got the highest collection record in the Malayalam industry. 2018 also holds the record for the film that entered the 100 crore list in the shortest number of days after its release.

The Judd Anthony film collected 1.85 crores on its May 5 release date. The positive feedback received subsequently increased the weekend bookings. House full boards went up in major venues and more shows were organised. Following this, the film made a box office collection of 3.22 crores on its second day of release. There was a 75 percent increase in the box office.
Along with the director, young Malayalam writer Akhil P Dharmajan has also participated in the writing of this film. The production banner is Kavya Films and PK Prime Productions. The cinematography of the film was done by Akhil George. Mohandas is the production designer of the film.
“2018 Every One is A Hero” has been produced by Venu Kunnapally, CK Padmakumar and Anto Joseph. Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Indrans, Vineeth Srinivasan, Lal, Naren, Sudheesh, Siddique, Ranji Panicker Jaffer Idukki, Jude Anthony Joseph, Aju Varghese, Jibin Gopinath, Doctor Roni, Aparna Balamurali, Sivada, Vinita Kosi, Tanvi Ram, Gautami Nair and others played the main characters in the film.
