Despite having a tradition of supercars, nobody takes it for granted that Bugatti will not enter the world of SUVs.
We’ve seen top luxury car and supercar brands fall for the SUV lure, with Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini and Ferrari all in the mix. There’s a ‘someone’ missing in this group: Bugatti. Although the French firm has not mentioned plans to enter the world of Sport Utilityno one rules out that it will happen at some point.
After all, their competitors already have vehicles of this type, and It would not be worth staying behind, especially when it comes to business.. Since there is no official information that leads us to a project of this type, an independent designer took the trouble to launch a risky, but very realistic proposal, of a Bugatti SUV.
To give meaning to his aesthetics, he took the Characteristic elements of the brand’s design language and adapted them to this vehicle format. To propose a propulsion system, he used the mechanical components of the Bugatti Tourbillon, the brand’s most recent supercar, which It is distinguished by being hybrid. Which fits perfectly with the trends.
A Bugatti SUV? This is “Spartacus”
The designer on duty took his project very seriously and named his creation “Bugatti Spartacus”. And A curvy, luxurious SUV, and of course, powerful and fast. At the front, the design of the horseshoe-shaped front grille and the floating roof effect which is created from its front, forming a kind of “C” on its sides.
From this same profile view, one jumps out at you high waistline and an elongated hood. The vehicle’s shape also makes its ‘muscles’ stand out. It also has a pair of slim LED headlights, and massive air intakes at the front, large wheel arches covering gigantic rims with a multi-spoke design.
Its rear is, without a doubt, the most daring, in which there is a large open rectangular piece that also seems to form some entrances, where the lights are integrated and further down, there are elongated exhaust outlets. Also, note that the roof has a slight slope which gives it an extra touch of style and unique personality.
A new hybrid SUV
Taking mechanical references from the Bugatti Tourbillon, the hypothetical SUV “Spartacus” is equipped with a 8.3-liter V6 engine with 1,000 horsepoweralong with three electric blocks distributed two on the front axle and another on the rear axle, providing 800 hp. The battery is 25 kWh and according to the new supercar, can accelerate from 0 to 100 in 2 s.
