Bug Discovered: How Players are Crossing Realms in Diablo IV

Logically speaking, until the end of the season in “Diablo IV”, season characters and eternal realm characters cannot communicate with each other, but overseas players seem to have found a bug to achieve this goal, and the method is quite old school.

According to the sharing of overseas creator Glitch Unlimited, “Diablo 4” can use the disconnection method of the season characters to make the characters of the eternal realm “travel” to the world of the plague season.

The method mainly uses the team formation mechanism, and then actively unplugs the network cable. When the screen is connected to the network and returns to the character interface, and then selects the character of the eternal realm to log in, the character will travel to the world of the season of the plague and stay in the original Teammate’s team status.

Through this method, the characters in the Eternal Realm can pick up the Plague Heart and equipment that is exclusive to the current Plague Season, or transfer the items on their body to the season characters. However, this bug does not allow Eternal Realm characters to gain the Plagueheart special effect, and cannot complete the Plague questline.

It is not uncommon to find bugs through the disconnection mechanism in the history of games, but it is a bit embarrassing to find this problem in “Diablo 4” developed by more than a thousand people. It is reasonable to say that the characters of the eternal realm cannot be involved in the season characters. A fix may be available shortly.
