Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 135 games in his three season with Juventus and guided the Bianconeri to two league titles. But in the Champions League – the main reason why the Portuguese star player was attracted – Juventus did not make it past the quarter-finals.
Gianluigi Buffon, who went to PSG in Ronaldo’s first season in Italy, was amazed. “Juventus had the chance to win the Champions League in the first season with Ronaldo, but I did not understand what was happening,” the goalkeeper told TUDN.

Even after Ronaldo’s departure to Manchester United, Juventus no longer resembles the team that won 9 league titles in a row. They are currently 5th in Serie A, 12 points behind leader Inter Milan.
