Yesterday evening, the first Ramadan tournament for cubs and buds, “Dibba Gather Us,” organized by Dibba Al-Fujairah Sports Club, was launched at the club’s academy stadiums for players born from 2009 to 2013. It will be held from March 25 to April 6, with the participation of about 330 players representing 22 teams from different countries. Dibba city areas, academies, schools and neighboring cities in the emirate.
The announcement of the official launch of the tournament came with a grand ceremony attended by Ahmed Saeed Al-Dhanhani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Club, the sponsor of the ceremony, his deputy, members of the Board of Directors, sponsors, strategic partners, parents, the club’s technical and administrative staff, and guests.
Abdullah Ali Al-Dhanhani, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Team and Individual Games Committee and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Ramadan Tournament, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees. An enjoyable competitive sports atmosphere for them and their families.
Ahmed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Chairman of the Board of Directors, honored the sponsors, strategic partners, and the winning academy teams in the UAE Football Association competitions, the U-14 and U-12 teams.
It is noteworthy that the teams participating in the tournament, which is held on the courts of the Dibba Club Academy, were divided into two groups, the category of twelve teams born in 2009-2010, namely: Zayed’s children, Nujoom Al-Hosn, Al-Bayan, Ashbal Al-Nawakhada, Al-Saif, Indian School, Bidiyah, Springs School, Al-Hilal, Barcelona, Panthers, Falcons, while the second group includes 10 teams for age groups born (2011-2012-2013 AD), namely: Celebrity Stars, The Emperor, The Indian School, Real Madrid, Against Us, Al Bidiyah, The Springs School, Liverpool, Man United, Dream Team.
