Budi Gunawan reportedly participated in Prabowo’s ministerial detail

Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Budi Gunawan he is said to have attended to the details of the proposed cabinet members Subianto game in Hambalang Bogor, West Java, this Wednesday (16/10). The location is Prabowo’s private residence.

“Pak Budi Gunawan was the last to arrive,” said the Chief of the Defense Minister’s Special Guards Group, Lt. Col. Inf. G. Borlak in Hambalang, Bogor.

Borlak said 59 figures were invited to an information event today. He also explained that the activities in Hambalang would be held for two days.

According to him, the local regional government and law enforcement officers were involved in ensuring actions.

“This security operation involves the Bogor City Government. Yes, in levels from Regional Police Chief, Dandim, Police Chief, then Regional Police Chief, then Danramil, and Babinsa, and everyone in this area. Including Satpol PP and security. that’s all going,” he said.

Budi Gunawan has been the Chief of BIN since September 9 2016. However, Budi will be replaced by Deputy Defense Minister Herindra.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) appointed Herindra. It is claimed that Prabowo was approached as president-elect as the new president.

The President’s letter regarding the appointment of Herindra as Head of BIN was submitted to the DPR on 10 October 2024.

At the same time, from Monday (14/10) to Tuesday (15/10), Prabowo has called the ministerial candidates and his deputy ministers in turn. In total there were more than 100 people named Prabowo.
