The decision of the parliamentary group of “Coalition for Bulgaria” and the Executive Bureau of BSP is not to support the budget update. This was told to journalists by the chairman of the National Assembly of the BSP and chairman of the National Assembly, Mikhail Mikov. He was categorical that such an update was unnecessary, the reasons for it were contradictory and there were not enough facts and evidence to require such actions. The chairman of the Socialists added that the project for changes in the budget of the NHIF will be supported. “It’s about debates, arguments and a vote, with which everyone assumes their political responsibility,” he added. The socialist added that the presence of the KB PG in the hall will be decided at the meeting of the group.
When asked if it was a serious concern that the DPS would not return the mandate to form a government, Mikov was adamant that any concerns are fueled by facts. “I hope that the agreements will be respected,” added the BSP leader.

“Let some time pass, let’s hold talks with different people in the party, with a wide range of people, and then we will move on to solving the organizational issues by the party’s bodies”, said the chairman of the BSP when asked if we can expect sharp changes in party bodies. “We can talk about changes only when we hold talks with the people who want BSP to be the strongest party in Bulgaria”, he was categorical. When asked if he expected to win the leadership battle, he was adamant that after running for the presidency he expected everything. “I am not in the BSP because it was in power, we were in opposition many times and I still worked for it,” concluded Mikov.
