A bang in the NBA!
The Milwaukee Bucks have decided to protest against police violence to boycott their playoff game against the Orlando Magic.
Game five of the round was supposed to start at 10 p.m. Central European time, but the Bucks refused to come out of the dressing room. The Magic players stood on the field in Orlando / Florida on Wednesday and waited for their opponent, but the bucks for the Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo did not come.

Penalty for “no show”?
In the NBA regulations there is a rule violation “no show”. According to the catalog of penalties, the game is considered lost and the team that caused the loss of the game faces a fine of up to $ 5 million.
However, this rule does not have to apply automatically in the current case. The NBA is in an absolutely exceptional situation not only because of Corona, but also because of the mass protests due to police violence against blacks. In the Orlando bubble, players have already been allowed to present certain messages on their shirts instead of their own names.
Therefore, the NBA may well choose a different approach to the Milwaukee Bucks action in this context.
The league has now reacted and canceled all of the day’s games. There had previously been reports that another game boycott could occur. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder players were also not planning to play their fifth game in the series. The game was scheduled for the night from Wednesday to Thursday at 0.30 a.m. (Central European Time).
