National Basketball Associations (NBA) is the leader of the Milwaukee Bucks and one of the biggest stars of the league Jannis Adetokunbo could miss the Eastern Conference semi-final fourth decisive match against the Miami “Heat”, as the basketball player is placed on the list of injured players, indicating that the readiness to go on the field is currently unclear.
Bucks leader Adetokunbo was injured in the first quarter of the third match of the series. The basketball player stretched his right ankle, but the club’s medical staff allowed him to continue the game. It has already been reported that regular season favorite Milwaukee “Bucks” is at a standstill, as the result of the Eastern Conference semi-final against “Heat” is 0-3. Greek talent Adetokunbo was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks Club in the 2013 NBA Draft with a relatively low number 15, where Jannis has spent his entire career so far.
This season, the basketball player has played 63 games in the field, in which he scored an average of 29.5 points, won 13.6 rebounds and made 5.6 assists.
The Greek basketball player has also entered NBA history, breaking a nearly 60-year-old record. Namely, Adetokunbo has accumulated the all-time best efficiency rating (PER) in the history of the league this season (31.91). Previously, the record belonged to Filt Chamberlain, who in 1962/63. in the season stood out with a rating of 31.82, but one season earlier with 31.74. Michael Jordan, on the other hand, 1987/88. in the season was at 31.71 rating.
For the Greek national basketball player, this is the seventh season of the NBA, where he has only represented the Bucks so far. In seven years, the Milwaukee team alone qualified for the play-off four times and was able to win the first round only once.
