Mike Budenholzer, head coach of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Milwaukee Bucks, said team leader Jannis Adetokunbo had fully recovered from a knee injury he had suffered in March before the season ended.

“It’s a huge advantage for us that Jannis is completely healthy and ready to help us,” Budenholzer told North American media ESPN. “He is in great shape both mentally and physically.”

“It is difficult for me to say what would have happened if the season had not been interrupted. Adetokunbo may have missed a few weeks due to injury. We can only guess how long he would not play. Now it’s great that he is ready to go on the field, “says the coach.

The 25-year-old Greek became the NBA’s most valuable season player (MVP) last season. This season he has played 57 matches, during which he has averaged 29.6 points, won 13.7 rebounds and made 5.8 assists.

According to ESPN, the most valuable player award (MVP) of this regular season should be given directly to “Bucks” star Addokunbo, but his closest followers are Lebron James, James Harden, Luke Donchic and Chris Paul.
