Bucks beat up casualty-ridden Sixers

One of the best duels that can be seen right now in the NBA it had neither grace nor emotion. The Milwaukee Bucks beat a Philadelphia 76ers riddled with casualties by 132 to 94. The Wisconsin team ruthlessly crushed their rival in the repetition of the same duel played a few days ago.

The Sixers came to meet the confirmed withdrawal of Ben Simmons and with the last minute absence of Joel Embiid. Without his two stars and playing against some Bucks in great shape, his chances were not good.

The first quarter showed two things: the strength of the Bucks as a whole and Philly’s difficulties in scoring without the leadership of its stars. The initial set was nothing more than a preview of what the whole match would be.

Both teams quickly realized that the match didn’t have much history ahead of it and nobody played more than 30 minutes. The Bucks took the opportunity to run a long rotation of up to 15 men, giving court to all his players in the game. As an anecdote, everyone scored at least one point.

Doc Rivers also threw off the bench and released 13 of his men, taking advantage so that their most habitual ones did not suffer an excessive load of minutes. The second part was the perfect setting for some lesser known faces assumed chevrons and dynamite the encounter.

Shake Milton y Tyrese Maxey they ended up as top scorers for a poor, lost and aimless Sixers. He also gave his face Dwight Howard, which in the absence of Embiid became the leader of Philadelphia painting. The veteran pivot went to the 12 points and 12 rebounds, achieving a solid statistic.

In Milwaukee, and despite the reduced timing, Giannis Antetokounmpo once again overshadowed the rest. The Greek was the leading scorer, rebounder and assistant. Added a line of 24-14-7 in just 24 minutes, showing his excess of talent, especially in the open field.

He also took his chance Bobby Portis, another who never disappoints and knows how to make the best of the minutes that Budenholzer gives him. ANDn 19 minutes from the bench he had 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the second unit.

With this triumph the Bucks are even closer to Philadelphia, stalking that second spot in the standings of the Eastern Conference. The Brooklyn Nets currently lead the table and all three teams are the big favorites to take that top spot.
