(Bückeburg) On Friday, June 18, around 1:50 p.m., officers from the Bückeburg police force the driver of an electric scooter in Lulu-von-Strauss-und-Torney-Strasse, at the level of the Adolfinum Gymnasium in Bückeburg , controlled.
The officers noticed that the e-scooter had a black insurance number on it. However, this was no longer valid.

Because of the lack of insurance coverage, criminal proceedings under the compulsory insurance law were initiated against the 22-year-old from Bückeburg.
The Bückeburg police point out once again that the validity of insurance plates ends at the end of February each year. From March the new insurance year begins with a new color for the small license plates. Every owner of an e-scooter or user of a vehicle with an insurance license plate should therefore check that his license plate is up-to-date. (po)
