“Bucharest now. Northeastern Bulgaria soon” – that’s how Meteo Bulgaria commented on the shot from the Romanian capital, which they shared a few minutes ago on the social network Facebook.
According to the forecasters from NIMH, after noon it will be cloudy with rain, in the mountainous regions – mainly snow. The wind will be from the north-northwest and will be light to moderate, bringing cold air with it. In Northern Bulgaria and the high western fields, the rain will change to snow. At 2 p.m., temperatures in northern Bulgaria and high western fields will be between 0° and 4°, in southern Bulgaria – between 5° and 9°.
During the night, the precipitation will continue, but it will be weaker and in fewer places. In the western part of the Upper Thracian plain and in the southwestern regions, the rain will change to snow, and in southeastern Bulgaria and along the Black Sea, it will continue to rain. A light to moderate wind will blow from the northwest. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 3° and 2°, in Sofia – around minus 1°.
Tomorrow the precipitation will stop from the west, after noon and in the southeastern regions. In Eastern Bulgaria, as temperatures continue to drop, the rain will mix with snow. After noon, there will be temporary cloud breaks in the western half of the country. It will blow to moderate, in Eastern Bulgaria and temporarily strong wind from the north-northeast. The prevailing maximum temperatures will be between 1° and 6°, in Sofia – around 3°.
Cloudiness will be significant in the mountains. From the west, the snowfall will weaken and stop, until the evening and in the mountains in Eastern Bulgaria. The wind will be oriented from the northeast, on the highest parts of the east and will be moderate, short and strong. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around minus 1°, at 2000 meters – around minus 5°.
Cloudiness will be significant over the Black Sea. There will also be rain showers, mixing with snow, but they will weaken, by the evening almost everywhere and stop. Moderate to strong winds will blow from the north-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be 2°-6°, Sea water temperature is 9°-11°. The excitement of the sea will be 3-4 knots, after lunch it will weaken.
