bTV was seriously scared of NOVA’s show “Like two drops of water”. Due to the record rating of its tenth season, the television postponed the start of two new projects. These are the sequels of the series “Sunny Beach” and the show of Lubo Neikov “The Show”.
In order not to die in competition with “Drops”, instead of going on the back of the show on Monday, as promised, they started a day later, when NOVA broadcasts the lower rated show “One for Another”.
The decision to postpone the start of “Sunny Beach” and “The Show” was made a few days before the two projects were released, “Weekend” writes.
They were to be aired on May 2, the comedy series was scheduled to air from 21:00 in the evening, and the new production of Lubo Neikov and his comedians – an hour later, before the “Show of Nikolaos Citiridis”.
Both programs were to fill Survivor’s time after the reality show finale on April 27. Ten days before their planned launch, bTV officially announced that they were making a change in their program.
After trumpeting for at least a month that Sunny Beach was back on May 2, it suddenly turned out that the date was a day later – May 3. The series will not run on Monday, but on Tuesday and Wednesday. The same goes for the new version of “The Comedians” – “The Show”. There are two and a half hours of Turkish series left for prime time on Monday.
BTV did not explain the reason for this surprising change. However, it is obvious that what scared them to broadcast their Bulgarian projects on Monday was the shattering success of “Drops”.
