BTU Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Festivities in Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, and Graz

The managing directors Dr. Georg Nader and Thomas Kreillechner welcome more than 280 customers, employees and partners. The secret of success was revealed: “We are always close to the customer.” The company’s new claim also fits in with this: “be there”.

The celebration in Vienna was also the starting signal for the modernization of the corporate identity, which will now have a fresher look with the color turquoise. Georg Nader illustrated BTU’s current performance with an example: “Last week, our employees issued a flight ticket every 14 seconds.”

The vision of founder Christiane Tondolo

The foundation for the successful service company was laid by founder Christiane Tondolo, who inspired her employees early on with the vision: “We want to become number 1 in the Austrian business travel market.” The vision became reality.

With the takeover of VB Business Travel and AX Travel Management and continued organic growth, Austria’s largest business travel provider was created. Thomas Kreillechner indicated where the BTU is heading in the future: “We want to combine the human intelligence of our team with the technology.” The course has been set.

At the big 30th anniversary celebration, well-known BTU partners also had the opportunity to present their Viennese teams and their news. With generous raffle prizes, they won sympathy points from customers and BTU employees. Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Emirates, Air France, KLM, Qatar, Singapore Airlines, ÖBB and the tourism partner company “Die Reiserei” were represented.

Birthday party in the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz

170 customers, employees and partners came to the Raiffeisen Arena for the glittering anniversary celebration in Linz. Dr. Heinrich Schaller, CEO of Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich, as owner representative, was pleased that BTU has become number 1 in Austria and is continuing on its path to success.

The BTU managing directors Dr. Georg Nader and Thomas Kreillechner emphasized BTU’s customer proximity, which is particularly evident in the close relationships with companies in the economically strong region of Upper Austria. The partners Emirates, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Sixt, Singapore Airlines and “Die Reiserei” supported the festival with generous raffle prizes.

Anniversary events in Salzburg and Graz

In Salzburg, BTU invited people to the airport restaurant “Das Wolfgang”, where managing director Thomas Kreillechner spread a lot of optimism: “Online meetings are a good addition, but they do not replace personal contact. Business trips will always exist.” Together with customers, we want to make them more sustainable and environmentally conscious. The celebration, attended by around 100 guests, was supported by Air Canada, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Singapore Airlines and “Die Reiserei”.

BTU managing director Dr. Georg Nader welcomed around 100 guests from Styria to the anniversary event. In his welcoming words, he also emphasized BTU’s customer proximity and innovative strength: “We combine the creativity of our employees with technological solutions.” Air Canada, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Singapore Airlines and “Die Reiserei” could introduce themselves as partners.
