The seven-member boy band is on the roster of more than 20 singers and groups to perform on the series which runs through August. BTS will make an appearance on May 28.

In 2019, the group performed two songs, “Boy with Luv” and “Fire,” in Central Park, New York, during this annual series.

The appearance will come only a few days after the release of the new single “Butter”. The song, the second sung entirely in English after the hit “Dynamite”, will be released worldwide this Friday at 1pm.

BTS will perform their upcoming single at the Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) for the first time on May 23 (UTC), where the group has been nominated in four categories: Top Duo / Group, Top Selling Song, Top Song Sales Artist and Top Social.
