Jungkook’s Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen AMG G63 Edition car auction closed on the 13th at 18:00, which was held at BLACKLOT, an online auction site affiliated with Seoul Auction. Among them, the final winning bid was set at 1.2 billion won. This is the highest amount since the launch of the Black Lot.
The auction, which began last month, was initially halted two hours before the deadline. At that time, the blacklot side confirmed the bidding history of a large number of unknown foreigners, and then halted the auction. At the time of the suspension, the highest bid was 420 million won. Subsequently, the auction restarted on the 6th.
The car in question is a Mercedes-Benz G-Class AMG G63 Edition that Jungkook purchased under his own name in September 2019, and is said to have owned it for more than two years before passing it on to a collector. The price of a new car is about 230 million won.
The starting price of the auction was 150 million won, but it sold for 1.2 billion won, about 8 times higher than the starting price, giving an idea of Jungkook’s extraordinary popularity.
