(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Choi Joo-seong = “I always knew that Wendy was good at singing, but once again, I thought, ‘She’s really good at it.'”
Jin of BTS, who released his solo album ‘Happy’ on the 15th, introduced his work on songs, including a duet with Wendy of girl group Red Velvet.
In a Q&A released by his agency Big Hit Music on the 16th, Jin said, “I’ve never done a duet with someone other than a BTS member, so I was worried about whether it would suit me well. I was really satisfied because it was better than I expected.”

Jin’s first solo album ‘Happy’ contains a total of 6 songs, including ‘Heart on the Window’, a duet with Wendy.
In the song ‘I’ll Be There’, American singer-songwriter Max, who previously collaborated with BTS in ‘Yet to Come’, participated in the song work.
Jin said, “I asked Max to create a song with a band sound from the beginning. I also created the melody to suit my vocal range, and I was satisfied because it seemed like the music came out well suited to my vocal range.”
Jin, who is said to have expressed his journey to find happiness, worked on the b-side song ‘Another Level’ while recalling his usual hobby of gaming.
He laughed, saying, “I came up with the concept and wrote the lyrics while thinking about my time playing games,” and added, “I think it would be fun for people who play games with a slightly dark atmosphere to listen to when they need to level up.”

Jin is continuing his active activities after being discharged from the military in June. He wanted to meet his fans as quickly as possible, so he hosted the YouTube entertainment show ‘Run Seokjin’.
He explained, “I think I did the most with program appearances rather than albums because it was a relatively quick way to meet fans,” and “It was the same reason I did ‘Run Seokjin.’”
On this day and the 17th, Jin will hold a fan showcase at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul and perform his new song for the first time.
“Seokjin, you have to work harder for the ARMY (BTS fandom) to be happy, so don’t get tired and work hard in the future.”
