On November 30, music streaming platform Spotify held its annual high-profile event, Wrapped. This event shares data on the most listened artists, songs, albums and podcasts on its platform.

Kpop artists have not been left out this year and have shown their popularity all over the world! As the 5th most streamed artist in the world, behind Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift and others, BTS entered the top 5.

This isn’t BTS’s only achievement on the platform. In fact, BTS is also the fourth most viral artist in the world on Spotify, a ranking that ranks the artists whose music is most often shared by Spotify on social platforms.

Among Kpop groups, BTS tops the list of most streamed artists. The top four on this list – BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE and Stray Kids – remain unchanged as of 2021.

However, fifth place this year went to SEVENTEEN, while last year it went to Tomorrow X Together. TXT landed at number 6 on the list, while the top 10 was completed by ENHYPEN, ITZY, Red Velvet and (G)I-DLE.
