/ world today news/ We are starting real actions with the aim of turning the BSP into a modern left party. This was stated by the chairman of the BSP, Cornelia Ninova.
Ninova stated that the BSP will propose a new coalition format for next year’s early parliamentary elections.
She emphasized that she wants the change that started with the presidential elections to continue. “We will offer an open and new style, a direct conversation with people. A direct conversation with the people, without behind the scenes,” Ninova stressed and added that she has cooled all measures for positions of power.
She explained that the reformation of the coalition BSP Left Bulgaria also means the reduction of the number of parties in it, but there will be more clarity about this process after the congress, which will be held in January.
Ninova said that the BSP will not propose people to the administration of the new president Rumen Radev. At the same time, he emphasized that the country currently has a president and he must organize the office and bear responsibility.
Ninova refuted the statements of the Minister of Regional Development in resignation Liliana Pavlova that the left is against the rehabilitation. “We are not against sanitation, Ms. Pavlova is lying,” she said and clarified: We would continue the sanitation program if we win the next election, making it more transparent and accessible as a procedure.
In connection with the resignation of the Chairman of the Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency, Eng. Lazar Lazarov, and the appointment of Doncho Atanasov, Ninova stated: “We have nothing to do with the appointment of Doncho Atanasov. We have no involvement and discussions about the negotiation of this post. We are not informed of this decision.” She noted that we should ask ourselves whether Lazarov is running away from this post because of possible suspicions of corruption.
