The merry-go-round started already last week, when Plevneliev handed over a mandate to the resigned prime minister, and Boyko Borisov returned it immediately. The third exploratory mandate is expected to be handed over to the Reform Bloc. The bloc has already started talks to ensure a future majority. After the meeting in the Council of Ministers with representatives of GERB, it became clear that it is too early for official talks about a future coalition and majorities. Menda Stoyanova from GERB said that support will be discussed after Plevneliev handed over the third mandate. The request of the RB, given by the resigned Minister of Health, Petar Moskov, is that “we go to elections only if all options have been exhausted before that”.
