“In connection with the suggestions of Mrs. Cornelia Ninova in the morning block of BTV, we are obliged to state that they do not correspond to the truth.
Bulgarian MPs from the Group of Socialists and Democrats have consistently voted AGAINST the delivery of arms to Ukraine.
The Bulgarian Socialist MEPs are among the founders of the Group for Peace in the European Parliament, they have repeatedly made speeches with this appeal in the plenary hall and advocated the same position in the working debates.
We would like to remind that the “Petkov” cabinet (with the Minister of Economy Mrs. Ninova herself) was actively involved in the supply of weapons to Ukraine on the recognition of the Prime Minister.”1, the statement of the Socialists says.
