Other reasons include staffing mistakes with leaders and a civil quota, civil wars, low protest activity.

Cornelia Ninova is used to red structures to analyze the campaign together

One of the main mistakes of the BSP, which led to the party’s poor performance in the parliamentary elections, was hesitation and a lack of official support for President Rumen Radev’s second term.

All red structures were unanimous in this, as they met with leader Cornelia Ninova and members of the resigned Executive Bureau over the weekend to analyze and analyze the results of the vote, after which the BSP remained only the third political force in the 45th National Assembly. meeting. They sharply criticized Positano 20 for not taking into account the opinion of most structures, which issued statements in support of Radev after he announced that he was running for a second term. And all the while Ninova and members of the leadership explained that the topic would be discussed after the parliamentary vote.

On both weekends, groups of socialists from all over the country entered the Red Headquarters, with the exception of those from Plovdiv, who declined the leader’s invitation to talk and demanded her resignation.

However, most of the other structures did not put pressure on the leader on this topic and the units were the votes for seeking personal responsibility, said those present at the meetings.

Some of the opinions expressed

were highly critical,

but not extreme,

as the reds agreed that despite the poor result we must move forward and it is not time to resign in the difficult situation in the country at the moment.

However, the personnel policy of the socialist headquarters with regard to the leaders of the lists and the imposition of paratroopers on some of the structures was also pointed out as a serious mistake. As well as the withdrawal of the civil quota at the expense of local party members in individual municipalities.

There was also a lot of talk about the disrupted communication between the structures in the party at all levels – from the National Council to the main party organizations. Internal party strife and struggle were also reported as the reason for the poor result. Therefore, the management asked the structures to work at the local level to converge positions and smooth out internal tensions.

According to many of the Reds, including the leadership itself, another mistake of the BSP was that it did not take a more active part in the protests last summer, but worked against the government more in parliament. Thus, the centenarian was not recognized as an alternative by the protesting citizens, and therefore in the elections the protest vote went to other formations. This protest remained on the yellow paving stones and nothing powerful was organized outside Sofia, even in cities where the BSP is strong, recreated the talks attended at one of the meetings.

Most of the red structures were of the opinion that new elections should not be held, because the party is tired after two consecutive ones, referring to the internal leadership vote last fall.

The Socialists commented that if support is given to Slavi Trifonov’s government, this should only happen if the policies it will pursue are clear. However, there were isolated voices that if Slavi does not propose a government and the president hands over the third term to the BSP,

the party must

make an attempt to

broadcast your office

In the end, however, the conversation was left with Ninova’s toughest opponents – the structures in Blagoevgrad, Pernik, Kyustendil, Sofia and Sofia region, most of which publicly demanded the resignation of the leader. This was also the meeting at which the most votes were heard for seeking personal responsibility for the poor results of the party’s vote.

“The direct election of a BSP leader is an important reform that we have carried out. But we have not witnessed consolidation, but a continuing division. Our party needs consolidation. The BSP does not need a leader as much as to look like a community again. This also applies to Bulgaria. We need a leader who will release the potential of the people “, commented the member of the Executive Bureau Krum Zarkov to BNR. He was the only member of the entire bureau to directly demand the resignation of the leader and his colleagues at their first meeting after the election.

Meanwhile, it became clear that on Saturday, Maya Manolova also gathered list leaders and future deputies. The meeting was attended only by the representatives of “Stand Up.BG”, acquaintances revealed. The main topic of their talks was the priority bills that the future parliamentary group will submit, as well as the need to move the Recovery Plan. The draft decision for the establishment of a commission for revision of the decisions of the Borisov cabinet has already been prepared, which Manolova promised to be submitted on the first working day of the new National Assembly.

During the week, the parliamentary group of “Stand up! Mutri out! ”, But it is not clear how the relations between Manolova and Nikolay Hadjigenov from the so-called “Poison trio” and whether they will continue to be together. However, there were only four deputies behind him, and even if they decided to secede, this would not prevent Manolova from having a parliamentary group, as the minimum required by the rules is 10 deputies.
