The BSP initiated a leadership meeting between the chairmen of the parliamentary parties. It is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday in the building of the National Assembly.
The leader of the left, Kornelia Ninova, has spoken with all her colleagues. For now, it is clear that GERB leader Boyko Borisov has confirmed his participation in the talks.
“Vazrazhdane” and “Bulgarski Vozhod” only confirmed that they had already received invitations.
Late last night, “We continue the change” made a decision – there will be no support for the BSP. One of the reasons – the left did not support their declaration during the second mandate.
“Since we do not see any step on their part to meet these positions at this stage, we cannot support this government. I think that we should all be ready for elections in the current situation”, said Andrey Gyurov from PP.
And although they would not give support, GERB is ready for talks at the leadership level.
“Leadership meetings, to form priorities, what differences are there, what are the possibilities. The procedure should be carried out in a normal way”, said Daniel Mitov from GERB-SDS.
The DPS share the main priorities outlined by the BSP, such as the accession to Schengen, the laws of the Recovery and Resilience Plan and judicial reform.
“How things will go depends on the leadership meeting. Whether it will give a result – I cannot predict, given that the situation with the dialogue is a lot. It is very unpleasant for us that the dialogue has not been restored”, said Yordan Tsonev from DPS.
According to “Vazrazhdane”, we are heading for new elections.
“We received an invitation to a meeting, but we will not go. There is no point in something like that, because we see each other every Wednesday, and there is no result from these meetings. There won’t be any from this one either”, declared Kostadin Kostadinov.
For BV, the possibilities for broadcasting a cabinet are not exhausted.
“The decision is that we will participate in conversations, the truth will be born in the dialogue. Priorities that receive a majority”, said Stefan Yanev.
Whether the BSP will return to the president a file with a candidate for prime minister, or an unfulfilled mandate, will depend on the outcome after the leadership meeting.
