Another bad news, the one we would like not to write. Suspected of having hit his wife during a stay in San Antonio, the former leader of the Nuggets and Spurs, Bryn Forbes, was arrested by the police. The authorities could prosecute him for assault and battery, but also domestic violence. We take stock.
It’s five o’clock in the morning, this Wednesday, February 15, when police in Bextar County – in San Antonio – knock on the door of a room at La Cantera Resort & Spa, a luxury relaxation complex north of the city. The agents come to arrest Bryn Forbes, ex-point guard of the NBA team of the city. The player is suspected of having beaten his partner the day before, while they were walking. The police explain that the man would have been annoyed during this outing, and would have hit his wife on the way back to the hotel.

Blows that required the victim to go to a medical facility. The player was immediately arrested, but would not currently be retained. As with the Miles Bridges case, the matter should probably be taken to court and a trial may be required. For the moment, little information is filtering as to the follow-up that the file will take.
Bryn Forbes was the Spurs point guard from 2016 to 2020, before playing a season in Milwaukee and then returning to San Antonio. Transferred last summer to the Nuggets, he was traded to Wolves at the end of January, before being released by the latter. Already without a franchise, this case should keep him out of the big league for a very long time.
