“I was pretty strict about sticking to the protocols and still … got the virus,” Bryan Cranston said on his Instagram account. The actor, famous for his roles in “Breaking Bad” and “Malcolm in the middle,” recently disclosed that he had a coronavirus. Cranston stressed that he strictly followed all security measures, but still caught it.
Despite everything, he added that he has had mild symptoms and is grateful for it. This, considering that the United States adds more than 150 thousand fatalities due to Covid-19. “I count my blessings and urge you to keep wearing the damn mask, wash your hands, and keep your social distance. We can prevail, but only if we follow the rules together,” he said.
Plasma donation
In fact, after overcoming the disease Cranston said that he decided to donate plasma, because he still has antibodies to the virus in his blood. “I thought maybe there is something I can do. So I started a program (at the UCLA Blood and Plasma Center), I hope that donating plasma can help other people,” he said. At 64 years old, Cranston could have had serious consequences by catching it, but he overcame the virus.
