The District Prosecutor’s Office in Plovdiv charged AGM with a crime under Article 346, Paragraph 2, Item 1, Items 1 and 2, Item 2, Item 1 and Item 3, Item 1, Item 1, Item 195, Item 1, item 4, proposal 2 of the NC, on the grounds that on 02.24.2022 in Plovdiv, he illegally stole a foreign vehicle, namely a BMW X5 passenger car, from the possession of Z.Zh.M. without his consent, with the intention of using it after the vehicle had been damaged, and the act was committed while intoxicated.
Defendant AGM drank a large amount of alcohol and decided that he would go to a car wash located in the town under the hills, where he worked, to collect BGN 20-30, which he alleged the owner of the car wash owed him .
The defendant knew where the keys, money from the car wash turnover and other things were kept. Upon arrival at the AGM address he saw that the former boss had parked the car “BVM X5” which he was driving.
The defendant went to the drawer where the money and keys were kept and, seeing no money, he took the original car ignition key. Although he was a disqualified driver and had consumed alcohol, he decided to take the vehicle and drive it for a while.
However, due to his inexperience, he failed to control the vehicle and after several sharp maneuvers, the vehicle he was driving hit three parked cars in succession: a DAF FA LF 45 truck, an Audi A3 car and a Mercedes truck. Spinter 213 CDI ” , causing extensive material damage to them, as well as to the car they drove.
The case is scheduled for a dispositional session and will begin next week.
