As of today (May 30, 2023), the district court is dealing with a brutal hostage-taking in downtown Düsseldorf. Three men from Düsseldorf and Marl are accused. They are said to have kidnapped and brutally abused another man from Düsseldorf. Long prison sentences are now threatened.
