Students who want to meet Slavi Trifonov in the Plovdiv hall “Sila” go through triple security. Everyone must show an up-to-date student booklet to enter.

The candidate for MP from ITN Lachezar Bakardzhiev and regional coordinator did not hide his concern that 15 minutes before the meeting there are no crowds of students, and the hall is for 2 thousand people.
“There are no more than 50-60 so far,” Lachezar Bakardzhiev said.
A sophomore from the Medical University explained that she came to the meeting not because of political sympathy for Trifonov, but to hear what he thought about student rights.
Iva Miteva and Toshko Yordanov arrived shortly before the start. It turned out that Trifonov entered the hall an hour before the event and did not appear in front of the media. They were not allowed.
“There are no students. There are no more than a hundred present, and there are so many universities in Plovdiv with nearly 40,000 university candidates,” Lachezar Bakardzhiev said. He said that the organization of the meeting cost him a lot of effort. He wonders what stopped the young people from coming.
Trifonov’s meeting in Plovdiv was announced as a national one, where students from all over the country were expected.
Only people with student IDs were allowed in the meeting.
