The Belgian airlines Brussels Airlines and TUI fly want to recruit more than 700 people together this year. Both companies mainly involve stewards and stewardesses, but TUI fly, for example, is also looking for fifteen future pilots. This is evident from reports from the companies.
Brussels Airlines is looking for at least 380 new employees. Most of the new colleagues will be part of the cabin crew, i.e. stewards and flight attendants. The recruitment campaign has already ended for them, the airline says. The selected students will begin their training in the coming weeks.
In addition, Brussels Airlines has about sixty vacancies in the ‘Maintenance & Engineering’ department, mostly technicians, and is looking for a lot of people for passenger assistance at the airport (check-in, boarding, etc.).

Airline TUI fly, for its part, is looking for 318 new employees, including 246 stewards and flight attendants. They will mainly fly from Brussels Airport, the airline said. In addition, there are more than seventy vacancies for students.
This year, TUI fly is also recruiting fifteen students for pilot training. They receive a year and a half program to become co-pilots. For those interested, there are open days in Zaventem on February 7 and March 23. Pre-registration is required, which can be done via the TUI job site.
In addition to the vacancies at the airline, the travel organization TUI Belgium also has vacancies for 27 travel agents for its network of more than a hundred travel agencies.
