Surinamese vice president Ronnie Brunswijk announced on Wednesday that he does not intend to to reverse the many appointments of his relatives, including his brother. That said the VP in a conversation with ABC Online News.
“When something hasn’t gone right, I’m man enough to turn it back. But if someone earns something, I will not be guided by criticism,” said Brunswijk, who asked whether his family should not eat.
Brunswijk wonders whether your family members can no longer hold positions because you have become vice president of Suriname, for example.
