But Sheffield United regained the lead shortly after half-time when Ben Brereton Diaz made it 2-1. Manchester United picked up the deficit and that time it was Bruno Fernandes who scored a penalty kick, 2-2.
The match then went towards crosses, but Erik ten Hag’s men managed to take a three-pointer.
Bruno Fernandes made it 3-2 in the 81st minute and shortly afterwards Rasmus Højlund made it 4-2 on a play from the Portuguese team captain. It was the last hit of the match.
