Bruno Dybal and Tomoki Wada complete the quota of foreign players Persikabo 1973. The two replaced Renan Sgaria and Ryosuke Nagasawa who were eventually dropped from the club.
Bruno was announced as a new signing on 25 July, Tomoki following a day later. Bruno is not a foreign name because he has strengthened Persiraja Banda Aceh, while Tomoki will have his first experience in Indonesia.
Even so, Tomoki had already joined the inaugural practice with Persikabo, Wednesday (27/7/2022). While Bruno just joined Bruno’s training on Friday (29/7).

“I’m very happy in my first practice, everyone helped me. And I think this is a good team, I’ve seen their game in the match against Persebaya yesterday, so I understand a little bit,” said Bruno, in an official Persikabo statement.
Both Bruno and Tomoki are expected to be better than the two players who have been dropped by Persikabo. Persikabo coach Djadjang Nurdjaman also spoke about the quality of the two players.
“Both of them have arrived, Tomoki and Dybal, Tomoki has started joining the training and to Dybal had to take care of the administration and today went outside first,” said Persikabo coach Djadjang Nurdjaman in an official club statement.
The former Persib Bandung coach hopes that the two new players can adapt well. The hope is that they are both ready to play when Persikabo face Dewa United in the second week of Liga 1 2022, Sunday (31/7).
Djanur, as Djajang Nurdjaman is known, was impressed with Tomoki’s ability after seeing him in a training session. The 27-year-old Japanese player is considered to have promising abilities and is expected to make a positive contribution to the Padjadjaran Army team.
“Seeing Tomoki is quite promising, he has good skills and a good vision of football. Hopefully it can help the team,” said Djanur.
“Hopefully both of them are not difficult to adapt, it seems very hopeful that the administration can be completed soon, so that we can play in the second game,” said Djanur.
Previously, Persikabo had actually completed its foreign player quota. But the omission of players had made Persikabo only have two foreign players namely Lucas Gama and Gustavo Tocantins.
