The accident happened on Saturday, shortly after noon. A 35-year-old driver drove his Ssangyong Rexton from Bruneggerstrasse to Hauptstrasse. In doing so, he lost control of his vehicle. The car collided with a candelabra and a concrete wall. But that did not mean the end: The handlebars continued on their way and only came to a standstill on a concrete flower pot.

The 35-year-old man was unharmed. There was property damage of several thousand francs. “A breath alcohol test at the person who caused the accident showed a value of 1.43 mg / l,” said the Aargau canton police. This corresponds to over 2.8 per mille. In order to clarify the suspicion of driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs, the responsible public prosecutor in Lenzburg-Aarau ordered a blood and urine sample. An investigation has opened. The driver had to hand over his driver’s license to the rejection authorities. (kpa)
