Bruck – sales contract for CTP Alpha fixed – ÖVP criticizes

The plans for the two halls of the CTP Alpha already caused criticism from the ÖVP in February. The presentation by their Austria boss Karl Brückner to the local council could not change that.

“None of our concerns have been resolved. Additional burdens for the population will arise, ”says ÖVP spokesman Ronald Altmann with conviction. He had the sales contract checked legally. None of the commitments is anchored in it accordingly. One can “only hope” that the buyer will keep his promises.

SPÖ parliamentary group spokesman Josef Newertal could not understand the objections of the ÖVP: “All questions were answered transparently. None of these nightmares occurred. “

What is not in the sales contract does not count

When he asked which lawyer the statement was from, Altmann refused to give a name. It is about a long-time Brucker lawyer who is a confidante for him. In any case, he does not want to rely on the words of the CTP representative. “What is presented but not in the sales contract does not count,” says Altmann. ÖVP councilor Thomas Riegler emphasized that he was not against the project: “Workplaces on the doorstep are also a form of quality of life. But traffic is also a factor. The population of Wilfleinsdorf is concerned. ”There are already enough truck toll refugees who drive through the local areas.

SPÖ Mayor Gerhard Weil emphasized, however, that it was an industrial area. “In terms of traffic, this is the best place because it can be reached without having to drive through the local area,” says Weil. He invited the ÖVP to work with the Ministry of the Interior to ensure that the police get more staff to take action against the toll refugees.

The Greens also viewed the project as positive, in particular the efforts of CTP in matters of environmental protection. “They don’t promise us any ice lollipops. They do it the same way at their other locations, ”emphasized Grün’s local councilor Roman Kral. “The concerns expressed by the ÖVP should have already been expressed during the reallocation,” said Kral.

The purchase agreement was approved by a majority. Only the ÖVP voted against, with the exception of councilor Riegler, who abstained.
