After making public, a year ago, that the actor left the cinema due to suffering from aphasia –inability or great difficulty speaking–, the women in his life, that is, his current wife, Emma Heming, and their daughters, Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8; and his ex-wife, Demi Moore, and their daughters, Rummer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29, have sent a joint statement in which they appreciate the expressions of affection and explain what their goal is by sharing what happens to Willis.
“Nowadays there are no treatments for the disease —they say in their writing— (…) Bruce always used his voice to help others and raise awareness about important issues. We know in our hearts that if I could, today would like to draw world attention to this and connect with those who are also dealing with this disease and their families.
