Steve Bruce has given an update on Newcastle’s ongoing pursuit by Joe Willock, sending a warning to his parent club, Arsenal, in the process.

Duo should be fit for Prem opener
Meanwhile, Bruce has not ruled out Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson returning for Newcastle’s Premier League opener against West Ham in a fortnight.
Bruce said it was “possible” that the duo could play Norwich at St James’ Park next weekend.
When asked about Saint-Maximin, who had disappeared due to illness, Bruce said: “It is possible. We will see how it recovers ”.
