BROU Offers Special Loans in Uruguayan Pesos for Liabilities in November and December

Banco República (BROU) once again enabled special loans in Uruguayan pesos for liabilities, who may request a new one or renew one already granted. The loans, which will be granted during the months of November and December, have the lowest rate on the market and are immediately credited to the account of the person requesting it. The financial institution reported that, in the cases of loans to be renewed, a minimum percentage of prior payment of installments is not required.
NOVEMBER
Applications can now be made exclusively through eBROU with a discounted rate. For those who collect their retirement through the BROU, as of November 16, the in-person route will be incorporated to request the loan at bank branches using the last digit of the identity card, according to the following schedule. Then, starting November 23, the rest of the liabilities will be able to do so.
DECEMBER
In December, a similar period will open, starting on the 11th of that month, the date from which liabilities collected through the BROU will be able to go to the branch of their choice during extended hours from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., depending on the verification digit of your identity card. The rest of the retirees will be able to access the loans starting Monday, December 18. Liabilities that charge less than $30,000 nominal can also request their loans by phone at 1996, or by WhatsApp at 2 1996 000 from November 16 to December 22.
