Brooklyn Museum showcases Alicia Keys’ art collection

The art collection of the musical couple Alicia Keys (42) and Swizz Beatz (45) is being honored for the first time with a major exhibition in a New York museum. More than 100 works from the collection will be shown at the renowned Brooklyn Museum starting February 10, the exhibition hall announced on Monday. The two have put together “one of the most important collections of contemporary art,” said museum director Anne Pasternak.

These primarily include works by non-white artists, such as Gordon Parks, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Lorna Simpson, Kehinde Wiley and Nina Chanel Abney. The show “Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys” will be on view until July 7, 2024. Keys and Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Daoud Dean, have been married since 2010 and have two children.
