At least 23 people were injured in the fire in a residential building in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday (local time).
Local media reported that 19 firefighters were among the injured. The injuries were classified as “non-life threatening”.
The fire had broken out on the top floor of the six-story building for a still unknown cause and caused the roof to collapse. At least 200 firefighters and paramedics were on duty.
