Brooklyn fire leaves 12 seriously injured – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK – At least a dozen people were seriously injured after the garbage chute inside a Brooklyn building caught fire overnight, city officials said.

The first 9-1-1 call came to the FDNY shortly after 11:00 p.m. Saturday about a fire in the FDNY building. Street of the Bridgethe department said. More units have arrived Farragut Housesa NYCHA complex in downtown Brooklyn in minutes.
