Residents of a street in Brooklyn were stunned by an alleged murder-suicide that police believe was carried out by someone else.
Identified as Jason Jackson and your partner, Olga Kirshenbaum34 years old, They were found dead early Wednesday in their apartment on Second St. near Fifth Ave. in Park Slope, authorities said.
Kirshenbaum was an established author and owner of Rags to Riches Consultingwhere he offered financial advice to artists and creatives, according to his website.
Both received gunshot wounds to the head., officials said. It was discovered a gun near Jackson’s body, which led to the New York Police Department (NYPD) to think that he shot Kirshenbaum and then committed suicide.
The building was Jackson’s childhood home, residents and friends said, alleging that They couldn’t imagine that the cook would kill his three-year-old girlfriend, much less himself.
“[No] It could have been him,” said an old friend and neighbor of Jackson, who identified himself only as Mook.
“I thought someone had done that to them.”, said. “Someone snuck in there and did that. I said, ‘No, that’s not Jay.’ Jay is always happy.’ There’s no way he would do something like that.’”

Jackson and Kirshenbaum were found dead in the apartment at 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday. A concerned relative discovered the victims after being unable to contact them. The family member called a locksmith to open the door when no one answeredreported Daily News.
Officials said there were no signs of internal conflict.. The police had never before been called to control any argument between Jackson and Kirshenbaum, an NYPD representative explained.

“It hurts me because I really heard it,” he recalled. “My wife and I were sitting in the kitchen having dinner and suddenly we heard a scream, like a little girl screaming.”.

“We looked at each other and said, ‘Did you hear that?’ And my wife said, ‘Wow, yeah.’ She wasn’t far away. You heard it as if it were right there. It was noisy. We thought, ‘Those were gunshots!’ We don’t pay attention”.
Mook didn’t realize the shooting was coming from Jackson’s apartment until their bodies were discovered.
