The landscape of lights at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden returns this Friday, November 17. For the third year you can enjoy a lighted trail, which stretches a mile long.
Through a statement, the Botanical Garden reported that the landscape will highlight “the natural beauty of the space, trees, water features and architectural details”.
“The trail takes visitors on an otherworldly nocturnal journey, through 18 installations by international light artists and design collectives,” the report added.
Landscape of Lights will be available until January 1
Adrián Benepe, president and CEO of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, said the event represents a “fascinating way to spend a winter night.”
The landscape of lights will be available until January 1, 2024 and the following artists will be participating: Taylor Swift, Elton John, Philip Glass and the Ukrainian folk choir Viter, among others.
In addition, there will be dining areas along the trailwhere you’ll be treated to hot buttered rum, jarred s’mores, homemade donuts, hot drinks, and other seasonal edibles.
