A sexualized girl
With only 11 years old, she starred in the movie ‘Pretty baby’, where she appeared naked and kissed the actor Keith Carradine, who was 29 years old at the time. After that, without yet reaching the age of majority, she participated in other films that also included sex scenes and nudes. All this before experiencing it in real life since, as she tells it, she filmed her first kiss or her first sex scene before kissing someone or having sex in real life.
However, one of the hardest stories of the leading actress of ‘The Blue Lagoon’ comes a few years later. Despite the jobs she had been involved in, being sexualized by viewers as a child, Shields received a Catholic upbringing and on occasion openly spoke of her virginity despite having filmed sexual scenes, some comments that years later he commented that he should not have done.
The harsh story of her rape
He tells this now in the documentary, where he recounts that, after taking a break in his career to go to university, found out about a casting for a movie when he was close to graduating, so he decided to do it and try his luck on the road to resume his acting career. She stayed with the producer, who was the one who abused her.

He never denounced it, what’s more, he came to feel guilty, because at that moment did not realize what had happened until, when she told a friend, she told him that she had been raped. “I wanted to erase it from my mind and my body and continue on the path that I was on,” she recalls of that moment.
