NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is asking the public to contact officers if they have any information about a man who was arrested for allegedly molesting multiple girls at a New York City school.
Police allege that between November 2019 and July 2021, Gerardo Gutierrez, 30, sexually assaulted at least three girls under the age of 12 during an after-school tennis program hosted by the New York Junior Tennis League at PS 100X. located in the Soundview section of the Bronx.
Gutierrez, a resident of the Bronx, was arrested on February 15 on multiple charges. He pleaded not guilty and, according to court records, bail was set at $150,000. He was not an employee of the Department of Education.
Information about Gutierrez’s attorney was not immediately available.
