Bronx convict charged with first-degree rape, accused of sexually abusing woman near Bergen Avenue and East 149th Street in early August.
The preliminary report from the New York Police Department (NYPD) says so The victim was walking around 1:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5, when the man, now known as Papa Diop, 38, came to him and asked for guidance.
After that, The criminal continued to “forcefully rape” her. The subject fled the scene east on East 149th Street to Brook Avenueaccording to the NYPD.
The 35-year-old victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition., News 12 The Bronx.
The sources show that A police officer recognized him from the leaflets that were circulating in the area and arrested him on the 4 train on Saturday morning.
