If you are a student at Bronx Community College, Hostos Community College or Lehman College, the three campuses affiliated with the “Cuny Cares” program, you are eligible for different aid: housing, food, mental health care, among others.
A study by CUNY (Municipal University of New York) showed that the vast majority of university students, including especially Hispanics, require support to graduate. Of 9,000 students surveyed, only 40% opted for help services.
And that majority is eligible to receive benefits, but unfortunately they are not enrolled in Cuny Care. Here we’ll explain to you how to do it:
