The 2022 edition of the Trophée des Villes de pétanque will be held in Palavas-les-Flots from 17 to 20 November. Bron’s team is already the favorite.
32 teams, including regional teams from Bron, Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) and Rumilly (Haute-Savoie), will compete at the Palavas-les-Flots pétanque club for the City Trophy 2022. The Brondillants are already expected winners in this quest ‘event. Indeed, among their ranks, Christian Fazzino is a player with an impressive track record. He quadruple world champion, European champion and fifteen times champion of France. He began his career at the age of 7 in his childhood town, Montluçon. From 2019 to 2021 he joined the Canuts de Lyon team to finish this year in Bron.
Christian Fazzino, 66, is feared in his discipline. He is also nicknamed by SportMag how “the best player of the 20th century“.
