Under the authority of the Team Leader, the broker advises personal-lines damage insurance clients on the products of the various insurance companies, in order to meet their needs advantageously and provides customer service and the necessary follow-up to each of the clients.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome, listen to and advise the client;
• Analyze needs, recommend the best product and offer the appropriate service;
• Seize sales and referral opportunities;
• Enter and update the client file according to established standards;
• Enter activities into the system and the client file according to the standards in force;
• Carry out all correspondence (letter, communication, etc.);
• Follow up on files: payment, document to be received;
• Communicate and negotiate with the insurer: flex, risk, acceptance, etc .;
• Complete dashboards and reports;
• Solicit customers to obtain x-dates, contests, coupons, etc .;
• Lead claims to insurers;
• Participate in team meetings;
• Respect the values, mission, standards and procedures in force in the company;
• Keep up to date and informed.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• DEC in damage insurance or equivalent (an asset);
• Personal-Lines Damage Insurance Broker (AMF) license.
• One (1) year experience in sales and / or customer service in personal damage insurance;
• Knowledge of the main office automation tools (Microsoft Office Suite) and software in force in the company (an asset);
• Knowledge of the main systems of insurers (an asset).
• Oriented towards customer service and the achievement of objectives;
• Excellent sales, negotiation and persuasion skills;
• Good autonomy and organizational skills;
• Oriented towards problem solving and priority management;
• Good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written.
