Broken pipeline causes liquid leakage at Poole Harbor port in the south of England | International

About 200 barrels of reservoir fluid leaked into the water in the southern English port of Poole Harbor on Sunday, reports the BBC. According to the administrators, a leak in a pipeline is the cause.

Reservoir fluid can contain all kinds of oil. Poole Harbor has therefore activated the “oil spill plan”.

That means the leaking pipeline has been shut down, with so-called booms on either side of the leak. In addition, companies specialized in combating oil leaks have been called in.

“Anyone who has come into contact with the spill should immediately wash with soap and water,” Poole Harbor said. “If the eyes have come into contact with cloudy water, they should be rinsed with water.”
